Soapstone is a natural stone that’s non-porous and highly heat-resistant—ideal for kitchen counters and around cooktops. It has a soft, smooth feel and typically darkens slightly over time, developing a patina that many homeowners love. It doesn’t require sealing. We fabricate and install soapstone countertops with care and can advise on oiling if you want to deepen the color.
